This indenture made the nineteen of August in the year of our Lord
One thousand Eight hundred and Forty three between Ebenezer H
Hennen of Washington township, Clinton County and the State of
Ohio, and his wife Elizabeth of the first part and Peter Huffman of
Jackson Township, Greene County and the State of Pennsylvania
of the other part.
WITNESSETH: that for and in consideration of the sum of one
hundred and twenty five Dollars to them in hand paid the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledge they the said Ebenezer H Hennen
and Elizabeth his wife hath granted bargained and sold out claimed
and release and by those present doth grant bargain and sell quit
claim and release unto the said Peter Huffman his heir and assigns
forever all their right title interest property claim and demand
whatsoever in and to a certain tract of parcel of land situated on
Black Thomas Run, Jackson Township, Greene County,  Pa  
adjoining lands of Charles Noel  Hall's  heirs and other formerly the
property of Christopher Young Deceased  and they being legal
heirs to the said Christopher Young & thereby entitled to one money
of said tract or land be the same more or less doth themselves their
heirs Executors administrators and assigns and from any other
person or persons whatever claiming or to claim by from or under
them or any of them unto the said Peter Huffman his heirs and
assigns shall and will warrant and forever defend,

    In testimony whereof we hereunto set our hands and seals the

                   The nineteenth day of August  A D one thousand eight
hundred and forty three personally appeared before me the
subscriber one Justice of Peace in and for the county afore said the
above Ebenezer H Hennen & Elizabeth his wife and acknowledged
the above written indenture to be their and each of their act and
deed & desired the same as such might be recorded according to
Law.  She the said Elizabeth being of lawful age separate and a
part from her husband by me examined and full contents of said
Indenture unto her made know whereupon she did  declare the she
did voluntarily and of her own free will accord seal & as her act
deed deliver the same without any coercion or compulsion of her
said husband whatever
