Notes for Osborn Marshall:
Osborn enlisted in the Navy December 27, 1906, atFt. Wayne, IN, went with his command to Washington, then to Havanna,Cuba. After 10 days they were sent to Santa Domingo in the province ofSanta Clara in the interior of Cuba. Here they remained 23 months and 15days, then were
sent to New York on the U.S.S. Prairie. On March 4, 1909, he marched inTaft's inauguration parade at Washington, D.C. after which he went onboard the battleship Rhode Island. He was 14 months in the Navy Yards atNew York. On August 18, 1909 he was at the Hudson-Fulton celebration andon July 20, 1910 he was transferred to the barracks in New York. OnDecember 26, 1910 he was honorably discharged from the New York barracksand services in the Navy.
